Reducing our plastic use

Reducing our plastic use

It's a plastic-filled world out there. Sometimes it feels impossible to avoid it. But with the right

planning and resources, you can reduce your quantity of single-use plastic throughout a day and do your part to help reduce negative impact on our environment.

Did you know more then half a billion plastic straws are used and thrown away every DAY? And over half the world's trash thrown out in 2015 was plastic packaging? If we keep on like this, all landfills are predicted to be full by 2035.

Scary, right?

But, all hope is not lost! Let's go over some easy changes you can make in your day-to-day life to reduce your plastic use and do your part!

-Switch to reusable straws

-Bring reusable bags to the grocery store

-Look out for boxed drinks instead of bottled ones

-Shop at refill grocery stores

-Invest in reusable mugs and cups for your Starbucks runs

These small changes make more of an impact than you can imagine. Do your part today!
